"Salud" (Soloo) is a Spanish word that means "to your health!"

In latin traditions such as in Costa Rica (where we learned a lot about food), it's used as a toast- Everyone raises their glass and says "salud!"

 

This site is designed to provide you with information about healthy eating and to connect you with a health coach who can help you reach your health and weight goals as you heal your body with food.

Colors, Combinations and Consistency in Your Food Choices

What are the  colors of the foods that I should eat?

 

The color of a food can indicate what vitamins, minerals and antioxidants it has and what organs it is most beneficial to.  It is important to eat a variety of colorful produce and to know which colors to combine.

 

 

What food combinations should I eat?

 

The foods that we should eat together are ones that our bodies can digest well together and ones that boost the nutritional value of one another.

It is important to know what foods to combine in a meal to minimze stress on your digestive ststem and to optimize your absorption and nutrition. 

 

 

 

How consistentantly do I need to eat healthy?

 

 

There is a direct connection between our health and what we eat, in order to be consistently healthy, it is best to eat healthy foods on a consistent basis.  This means that it is ok to eat junky on ocassion, but that the majority of what you eat should be a part of a generally healthy lifestyle choice.
