'Man is what he eats'
"Der Mensch ist, was er ißt." Translates "Man is what he eats." This is a phrase that was written by Ludwig Andreas Feuerbach in 1863 in an essay entitled Concerning Spiritualism and Materialism. The phrase was not meant to be taken literally but was meant to explain that ones mental and physical state are a direct result of what we eat.
Food is our fuel and our cells instruction to perform. The food we eat tells our body what to do. Vitamins and minerals are the carriers of the messages from the food to our organs and if the foods that we eat are lacking adequate vitamins and minerals then there will be a deficit of nutrition and information to our organs.
What does each organ need to be told to do and what foods are encoded to instruct that organ e.g. which minerals need to be sent to that organ to give it the proper fuel and instructions it needs to properly perform its duties?
What you put in your body, food, pharmaceuticals and liquids determine how you will think, behave and how your body will perform. If your body and its parts are not optimally working together, if there is disease in a specific organ or generalized inflammation and malfunction, you can modify your diet to target and correct the problem.
Currently so many foods are modified from their whole form that it is very difficult to get away from eating something modified in some way, but now more than ever it is important to be sure that you are consuming foods that are as close to natural and whole as possible. The less processed the better. Not all processing is bad but it is the processing that changes the chemical composition of a food (ionizing, etc) or adds harmful chemicals to a food (fillers, preservatives, etc.) that should be avoided.
If the properly encoded whole foods are introduced to our bodies, then it will give the correct instructions to our organs and our entire body about how to function optimally, efficiently, and how to maintain homeostasis and heal itself.
We can work together to determine your dietary needs and if neccesary, find the root cause of a deficit of nutrition in your body and target a plan of action to meet the needs of your specific organ systems.
